Yesterday we headed to a local farm about 6 miles from our house to see Santa. Our friends Tim, Susie, Maya and TJ went with us. Poor TJ slept in the car the whole time, so we don't have any pictures of him. We were the only people there and it was wonderful. Santa was sitting by a fireplace with a tree next to him and the whole "shed" really was decorated with pine and lights. There were items you could buy and free cookies and hot chocolate. You take your own pictures with Santa, so that is free, too. It was fantastic. The girls BOTH ran right up to him and wanted to sit with him. Rylie was so excited she actually forgot what she wanted to ask for at first, but then remembered and asked for Barbies and more Barbies and Chloe said she wanted "mousies." He asked what else Chloe wanted and she said, "Just more mousies." It was too cute. They also had a "train" ride outside for the kids. Most of the Christmas trees had been purchased already and we have no snow on the ground here, so it didn't look very festive outside, but the girls had a blast.
