Saturday After Thanksgiving

The Saturday after Thanksgiving, we went to Lake Las Vegas with some friends for a tree lighting and to see Santa.  We ended up getting to talk to Santa when the crowd died down and the kids got to give him their lists!  We ate dinner outside at an Irish Pub (it was chilly, but fun!).  Then we went ice skating on the floating ice rink!  It was in the 50's so the ice was a bit bumpy and they never cleaned it which didn't help!  But, they played Christmas music and had a red and g reen disco ball reflecting on the ice.  Both girls did great!  Chloe said she couldn't skate, but after 1 time around, she did great skating while holding my hand.  Grammie opted to stand by a chiminea and watch!  Lots of fun!!
