Pittsburgh zoo

Monday, July 9th we made our last journey to the Pittsburgh zoo before our move. Carrie and Derek invited us to join them and we had a great time! We got there early but it heated up quickly. We toured the zoo backwards and avoided the crowds which was great. The girls rode a log ride and the merry go round and got huge stuffed animal souvenirs. I had forgotten how many memories we had made there in our 13 years in the 'burgh. Brad took me to the zoo on my first visit to Pittsburgh and the elephants were swimming and playing in the water! Rylie fell asleep in the baby bjorn on her first trip, Chloe had 2 birthday parties there, we went twice on the day after thanksgiving all bundled up to enjoy the zoo, mom and I spent an 80 degree January day at the zoo with the girls, michelle found out the hard way that the merry go round goes super fast when you are still recovering from a terrible stomach bug and we made numerous trips with all of our friends
